I just learned about this fantastic new project from graffiti artist BNE. Founded just this year, the organization has already raised almost $20,000 to bring clean water to those living in extreme poverty. By selling donated artworks from a wide range of artists, the foundation gives exposure both to the artists and to this extremely important cause. I think this quote from BNE himself pretty much sums it up; “Graffiti’s original purpose was to give a voice to the voiceless. There are billions of people living in poverty with no voice at all. I want to let all my fellow graffiti writers, artists, and everyone else know that if we simply lend our voices to these people, we CAN change the world.” Make sure to check out their website for more info, a gallery of available artworks, and ways you can join the movement.
